Never eat food with less than 40’C. Although the human body temperature is always in the thermo state, but once the body temperature is slightly down, it will waste a lot of energy in order to bring the temperature back to normal. In addition, the gut which digests and absorbs food is an important immune organ. There is a tissue in the gut called “intestinal almond” which makes the white blood cells in the intestine very active. However, if the cold food enters the intestine, it will make the white blood cells dysfunction, and then cause internal cell infection.
After the food is put into the mouth and chewed, the food temperature will begin to drop. So, the ideal food temperature is approximately 40 ~ 42’C. Even fresh fruits and vegetables should be heated! The reason people eat vegetables is mostly for the vitamins and enzymes which provide nutrients the body needs before they are destroyed. However, if only heated to 40 ~ 50’C, the vitamins and enzymes are not destroyed. “Room temperature” food which is lower than the body temperature will not work! When drinking water, please drink hot water that is boiled and cooled slightly!
