The Jade Dragon Acupuncture System
The Jade Dragon Acupuncture system is a system that is a mix of both modern and classical acupuncture knowledge. The system originates from Northern China and has been developed, processed and refined by Anthony Monteith over the last 10 years. Anthony received the information whilst training in Acupuncture prior to receiving his licentiate. The Jade Dragon system comprises of 10 specialised prescriptions which are acupuncture point prescriptions. These prescriptions involve specific needling direction, needling in specific areas that are not always acupuncture points but are called energy gates. It relies on the understanding of the East Etheric knowledge. And the system is the most powerful when it comes to treatment of emotional and Shen disorders.
The Principal of the Jade Dragon System is based on the concepts that a human being contains 3 different types of body. A Spiritual body that we receive from heaven, A Physical body that is a creation necessary to live on this planet and then an Earth body which is a foundational energy which we derive from our ancestors like the blue print, DNA of the body . So this system is based on a mixture of Daoism and modern fractal Acupuncture system. It relies on the practitioner to personally develop their skills through the use of Qi Gong. Qi Gong forms will be prescribed with in this training, this training is most preferential for those who already have Chinese medicine experience for example: Practitioners of Tui Na, Shiatsu and Martial artists and it is a little bit trickier to understand as a lay person, but can be taught. However this practical system is delivered over 3 intensive modules and is more beneficial for those who already have some sort of needling or Chinese medicine experience. The system will allow the practitioner to help treat and also facilitate change within the human being at both Spiritual, Physical or Emotional layer. Often this system has been prescribed for people who are finding it difficult to make changes in their life, finding it difficult to move forward, have a feeling of being stuck or have lack of purpose or destiny, so the system primarily helps puts people back on the right track.
The secondary effects are physical. This system hugely benefits the Jing of the body. That is the sexual and reproductive energies of the body. It helps strengthen the lower back and also it helps to reconnect people to the Dao the way or helps them relink into the Spiritual path. The original teacher of this system was Master Liu Yi Yuan, and he believed that all illnesses reside in Spiritual sickness. So this system has a nice blend of both Spiritual and Physical concepts. For those interested in continuing with more advance studies, there is also bodywork, energetic bodywork system that comes with this, that can be taught encompassed within the training.
The training for this system costs €750, for those who deposit payment early will receive €100 discount that is €650 for the training. The first payment would have to be made 1 month in advance of the first training date. For all others the cost is €750 flat fee. That fee to be paid up front two weeks before the training date.

The course is taught by Anthony Monteith who has 17 years’ experience in Acupuncture, Tui Na, Qi Gong and over 25 years of Martial arts experience. The system is taught very much split between 50% practical and 50% theory, therefore allowing the practitioners to really encompass the work, to be able to use it immediately, effectively within the practice as soon as they return back to their Clinic or their Clinical setting. The course is fully accredited by the British Acupuncture Society and is also insurable via the INMI insurance scheme through Balens.
